Being a kid is a natural thing! You can't be an adult without starting at child hood. Good or bad kid doesn't in matter by that time of growing process. It a parents duty to make sure that child grow up as a good kid and show kid the good reasons of being a good parson by leading by example. When kid grow up he/she is like a copy machine copy everything into that little mind of his good or bad everything like any hungry pig. If child grow up! Without good parenting it very difficult for a child to make a good decisions when she is grown up cause there is no good, bad,wrong and right in her life.
Is not everyone growing with both parents or parents at all but that doesn't mean he/she will grow up! Being a bad parson with an adult guardian will make it in an adult hood a good parson. The thing is there is a Teenage stage where you want to make your own decision it a frustrating time for parents not sure that you will choose a good once or what. But a good parent I don't think have to worry cause she is one been growing you up to be a parson you are. And a choice you made good or bad she got hand in that. But every choice you made will count against you on future.
